June, 15-16. About 250 pine-trees were felled in Novosibirsk (Koptug prospect).

Whereas the Police did not prevent the building company from the illegal actions, but quite the contrary, prevented the citizents from the exercising their rights (the pinery area of 7 ha is protected by the legal authority of 05/16/2007, that prohibits actions of that kind, namely a destruction of forest area), the citizens appealed to the Office of Public Prosecutor for an institution of prosecution on the matter of wrong act. Today the felling of pine-trees has been stopped, but judging from the attitude, that demonsrated in our country, to legal authorities by executive branch and building companies, the process of felling could be resumed at any time. By avoidance of law the building company tries to organize a construction of dwelling houses in the forest area. Now the building company offers for sale apartments in non-existent houses, e.i. it sells nothing but air space.
